One late night in February I was having trouble falling asleep and the idea hit me, that I should make a little hack inspired by one of my favorite games ever, Final Fantasy XIII. And so I set forth to make a couple lists with six items, so perfect for FFXIII with its six main characters to draw from.

Boiled down, FFXIII is about a group of humans that messed with a machine god (or more closely an angel?) called a fal'Cie that branded them, making them l'Cie, and in doing so gave them a "focus", a grainy incomplete vision of a task they must do or be turned into monsters. As l'Cie they became no longer considered human by society, feared, and ostracized. They were given the ability to wield magic to help them complete their focus assigned by the fal'Cie. Throughout the game characters are torn between attempting to follow their focus or rebel and use their newfound power to their own ends and risk their reminding shreds of humanity.

This is my first ever TTRPG hack so I made it a very simple re-flavor of the classic Lasers & Feelings mechanics. However, I am contemplating making more versions that actually hit the themes harder but for now please enjoy this simple hack!
